Laboratorios Viñas sponsors the 2015 Dermopinion Forum

On the 15th and 16th of January, Laboratorios Viñas was present as a sponsor at the “7th Dermopinion Forum Course on Dermatology and Adolescence,” which was held in the Real Casa de la Moneda in Madrid.

Nearly 300 paediatricians, primary care doctors and residents in dermatology attended this course, which aims to promote continuing education on the main dermatological diseases of childhood and adolescence and a multidisciplinary approach to them.

Laboratorios Viñas presented its recently-released products, Molusk and Septomida spray.

With its special applicator, Molusk is highly effective and active in eliminating Molluscum contagiosum lesions (the well-known swimming pool “water warts”). The doctors present were greatly interested in the product because, although the active ingredient in Molusk -10% potassium hydroxide- is known to be extremely effective due to its caustic and cauterising action, it has to be used very precisely, dabbing on only the lesion, an issue solved by Molusk’s high-precision conical brush that becomes narrower and more pointed in contact with the solution. Additional safety comes with Molusk’s anti-tip valve, which prevents or reduces the possibility of fluid leakage if the container is accidentally dropped.

Septomida spray was also of great interest because of the very practical and easy-to-use format of the well-known classic “3-Sulphate Water” formula. This solution has been proven to be anti-exudative and to promote the healing process in types of acute exudative dermatitis, such as nappy rash, atopic flare-up, flexural eczema, intertrigo, burns and wounds, as well as in the de-crusting of chickenpox and impetigo. The spray makes application much easier.

In addition to how easy Septomida spray is to use, it is safe and non-irritating, does not stain and can be used at any age.
