We offer food to vulnerable people

Spain

Since 2011, Laboratorios Viñas has been cooperating with Banc dels Aliments de Barcelona to help those most severely affected by the economic and social crisis we have experienced in recent years. In 2022, for the fourth consecutive year, we also involved employees in fundraising activities for the online donations campaign.

We continue to help people in situations of social exclusion

Once again, we collaborated with Cáritas and its mission to welcome and work with people in situations of poverty and need, in favour of their overall development.

We support thousands of Ukrainian families arriving in Spain

We supported humanitarian aid activities for the population displaced by the war in Ukraine

We work with key actions in the fight against cancer

We continued to work with the Fundació Tècnica i Humanisme to promote activities that cover the social and psychological problems of people living with cancer, and to set up initiatives that address the health education needs of society, particularly children and young people.

We walk to raise funds for social and research projects

The Laboratorios Viñas team took part in the Magic Line walk. The money raised was donated to health and social projects at the Hospital Sant Joan de Déu, and also served to promote a package of aid to cover the basic needs of displaced Ukrainians.

We promote female talent through vocational retraining

We participated in the "Fem Digital Talent" project that seeks to cover two current needs: on the one hand, for women with disabilities and qualifications to continue to balance the three areas of their lives (personal-family, professional and health care) without having to give any of them up, and on the other, to meet a growing demand for female digital talent.

We work together to support vulnerable young people

This year, we worked once again in the Travesía Social Solidaria Pirineos (Crossing of the Pyrenees in Social Solidarity) , an educational project in the mountains that aims to promote the social inclusion of young people in vulnerable situations, as well as to raise social awareness.

We offer our help to around 1,000 people displaced by the war in Ukraine

Ukraine

Laboratorios Viñas decided to collaborate with UNHCR to provide protection and humanitarian assistance to 970 people displaced within Ukraine and refugees in neighbouring countries.

We help to improve the physical and mental health of people affected by the war in Ukraine

We worked with Farmamundi and several local organisations, implementing an emergency humanitarian action in the city of Poltava to improve the hygiene, health, dignity and well-being of people affected by the conflict.

We help to improve resident and displaced people's living conditions in the North Shewa region

Ethiopia

We supported several activities to improve the situation of the population, once again cooperating with the Amref Salud África organisation. We developed a project to build, refurbish and equip the paediatric and general medicine consulting rooms and the laboratory/storage room at the health centre in the Ataye region.

Meeting the basic and mental health care needs of people affected by the war in Tigray

Together with several organisations and institutions, we once again participated in the Humanitarian and Emergency Aid Fund (FAHE), managed by Farmamundi. This NGO has carried out nine actions in six countries around the world, supplying medicines, health care personnel and providing better health care for more than 31,000 people.
